I think that's a pretty accurate statement, and I think '95 was Phish's strongest year. and '97 was super hot and funky. As for modern day Phish, they just don't click like they did in the '90s.

I really enjoyed most of Phish's playing from 2011 (can't quite say the same for '10 or '09). Check out set II of 6/3/11 from last summer. You'll think you're listening to something from '95-'97.
